CLAT 2022 – The Consortium of NLUs will conduct CLAT 2022 entrance exam on June 19, 2022 (2-4 pm) ( rescheduled from May 8). The consortium has also extended the last date for submission of the CLAT 2022 application form to May 9 (from March 31). Applications commenced on January 1, 2022.
Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can fill out the CLAT application form 2022. UG applicants with minimum 45% marks in 10+2, and PG applicants with 50% marks in graduation are eligible to apply for admission; relaxation in qualifying marks applies to reserved category candidates. CLAT 2022 exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode, include MCQs, and will be of 2 hours duration. Questions will be asked from five topics – English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quants. Candidates appearing in the exam need to follow the subject-wise syllabus and important topics to secure a good rank and get admission into a top NLU.
CLAT scores will be used for admission to 5-year LLB and one-year LLM courses offered by participating NLUs.
What is CLAT?
The national-level Common Law Admission Test (or CLAT) is conducted by the Consortium of NLUs for admission to 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) courses offered by 22 participating NLUs. Currently, UG courses are offered by all 22 NLUs, while PG courses are offered at 19 NLUs.
